MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department held its annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday night to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes that helped make this another successful year.

This year's winners are:

Male Student-Athlete of the Year: Anthony White, Football

Female Student-Athlete of the Year: Juliette Harp, Basketball

Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Jakob Works, Lacrosse

Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Courtney Harville, Golf

Male Newcomer of the Year: Stephen Shephard, Golf

Female Newcomer of the Year: Hallie Rice, Golf

Megan Cook Sportsmanship Award: Jessica Swindle, Softball

John McWilliams Sportsmanship Award: Brendon Brown, Football

Charlie Lane Coach of the Year Award: Mike Turk (Football) and D.J. Conville (Baseball)

Male Single-Game Performance of the Year: Addison Lambeth's 7-under-par 133 over two rounds to win the Emory Spring Invitational.

Female Single-Game Performance of the Year: Juliette Harp's 12 rebounds, four blocks and career-high 28 points in a 73-64 loss to then-15th-ranked Maryville.

Play of the Year: Anthony White's 100-yard interception return for a touchdown in a 42-6 win over conference rival Methodist. 

Biggest Win of the Year: The football team's 38-27 win over Hendrix College in the first round of the NCAA playoffs. The win was the first playoff win in program history.
