MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Ten Huntingdon student-athletes were among those honored with the release of the National Strength and Conditioning Association's All-American Athlete of the Year awards.
The 10 student-athletes were Jenna Dorman, Jesse Dunn, Jake Green, Octavis Harris, John Iwaniec, Patrick Kucera, Deon Maxwell, Alec Raley, Landon Sessions and Jacob Wright. Each athlete was nominated by Huntingdon Director of Strength and Conditioning Charlie Goodyear, for their determination to improve in athletics while maintaining academic prominence.
"Having 10 student-athletes receive this high honor is a testament to our success toward having the best training culture in Division III athletics," Goodyear said. "I am proud of, and grateful to each one of these athletes for their sacrifice and commitment in this endeavor."
This is the 37th year the NSCA has presented the All-American Athlete of the Year awards.
