Duncan named USA South Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon senior T.I. Duncan earned USA South Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors on Monday.              

Duncan was recognized for her performance in a 56-49 loss to Berea and a 92-78 win over Mississippi University for Women. Duncan averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds, 6 ½ assists and two blocks in the two games.

In the loss to Berea, Duncan had 12 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and a steal. In the win over the Owls, Duncan scored a career-high 28 points, pulled down 12 rebounds and recorded eight assists.

Entering Monday's game at Birmingham-Southern, Duncan led the Lady Hawks with 12.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season. She also led the team with 32 assists, 19 steals and was tied for the team lead with eight blocks.
