Harville hired as Director of Operations

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College Director of Athletics Eric Levanda announced the hiring of Courtney Harville as the athletic department's Director of Operations on Thursday.

A 2017 Huntingdon graduate, Harville spent the past two years as a graduate assistant in the athletic department at the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, she obtained her master's degree in recreation and sports management

"I want to thank President West, Associate Director of Athletics Mike Turk and Director of Athletics Eric Levanda for this incredible opportunity," Harville said. "I am so excited to come back to my alma mater because it's a second home to me. I am looking forward to the opportunity to give back to a place that has given so much to me. I look forward to continuing the high quality gameday experience that this athletic department is known for."

Prior to her two years in Knoxville, Tenn., Harville gained gameday operations experience as a student-intern at Huntingdon.

"Courtney impressed me as an event management intern when she was a student, and having someone familiar with the way we do things is invaluable," Levanda said. "She has always been career-minded in terms of NCAA athletic administration and I think her experience at Tennessee will benefit her as she grows here at Huntingdon. I'm glad to have her back home."

As a student-athlete at Huntingdon, Harville was a four-year member of the women's golf team and graduated with a degree in sports management. She was a four-time Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar, four-time USA South Academic All-Conference selection and was the Huntingdon College Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a junior.
