Bio

Brandon Sewell returned to his alma mater as an assistant men's lacrosse coach in the summer of 2016.

Before returning to Huntingdon, Sewell spent one season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Ferrum College. The Panthers were 10-9 and won a second straight Southeast Independent Lacrosse Championship title.

Sewell worked with five players who were named to the All-SEILC team and four who were named to the SEILC All-Tournament team, including the SEILC Tournament MVP.

A founding member of the Huntingdon men's lacrosse team, Sewell scored the first goal in program history. At the time of his graduation, Sewell held the Hawks' career records for points, assists, ground balls, faceoffs won and was second in goals scored. He ranked in the top-25 in Division III in ground balls per game as freshman, sophomore and junior.

A team captain for three seasons, Sewell was named first-team All-SEILC as a senior, was a two-time Academic All-Conference selection, president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was chosen as the Huntingdon Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year as a junior.
