Jesse Masters joined the Huntingdon College coaching staff as assistant wrestling coach in the summer of 2016.

A 2016 graduate of King University, Masters earned a bachelor's degree in business finance while wrestling for the Division II Tornadoes. A four-year wrestler, he was a team captain as a sophomore.

Masters placed in the top five in 10 tournaments during his career, including a second-place finish in the Appalachian State Open and third-place finishes in the Hokie Open, Kaufman Brand Open, Citadel Open and King Open.

A native of Alabaster, Ala., Masters helped lead Thompson High School to state championships in 2011 and 2012 and was an individual state champion as a senior in 2012. As a senior, he was 5-2 at Fargo and finished one round away from earning All-American status.
