Bio

Noah Diebel joined the Huntingdon coaching staff as an assistant men’s basketball coach in the summer of 2019.

During his first season Diebel assisted head coach David Gurganus in leading the Hawks to a 14-14 record and their first appearance in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament championship game since 2014. The 14 wins were the most for the program since the 2005-06 season.

The team produced one All-Conference performer and 13 Academic All-Conference selections.

Diebel came to Huntingdon after spending one season as a graduate assistant for three-time NCAA Coach of the Year Tubby Smith at Division I High Point University.

Before becoming a graduate assistant, Diebel was a team manager for the Panthers and was named NCAA Manager of the Year in 2017 by Managers on a Mission.

Diebel graduated from High Point with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2018 and earned his master’s degree in elementary education in 2019.
