Bio

Weston Epperson joined the Huntingdon coaching staff as a defensive assistant in 2019.

Epperson has been a part of a four-peat conference championship stint from the 2019 to 2022 seasons.

In his first season, Epperson worked with a defense that recorded one shutout, held three opponents to 10 points or less and helped the Hawks win the USA South Athletic Conference championship and advance to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Before Huntingdon, Epperson spent two seasons coaching at the high school level. He was the running backs coach for Trinity Presbyterian School in 2017 and 2018 and spent the spring of 2019 at Valiant Cross Academy before joining the Hawks.

As a player, Epperson was a running back at Samford University under head coach Pat Sullivan. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.

A Montgomery native, Epperson was an All-State linebacker at Trinity and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star game.
