Bio

Jeremy Rimes joined the Huntingdon College strength and conditioning staff in 2017. Rimes spent the spring of 2017 as an undergraduate intern and upon completion of his degree requirements remained as a graduate intern through the summer.

Prior to the fall of 2017, Rimes moved to the position of assistant strength and conditioning coach. He will be responsible for helping train the 18 sports in the athletic department.

Rimes graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in physical activity and health, with a concentration in fitness, conditioning and performance. During Rimes' time at Auburn he played two seasons of lacrosse in the SELC D1 Conference as a defenseman and goalkeeper.

Rimes is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served six years as an Airborne Infantryman and Stryker vehicle commander. He served two separate tours in eastern and southern Afghanistan and was honorably discharged in April 2013.

Rimes is originally from Montgomery, Ala., graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 2005. He is married to the former Mabel Gonzalez, who also graduated from Robert E. Lee.
