Hargitt helped lead the beach volleyball team to its first win in program history against Principia in March. In indoor, she has compiled 626 kills, 437 digs and 87 blocks in 233 sets played. She was named to the first-team West Division as a senior by the USA South and was named USA South Volleyball Player of the Week during her senior campaign.

Academic Achievements and Campus Activities: Hargitt is a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority where she serves as the corresponding secretary and was named to the USA South All-Academic team her junior season.

What made you feel like Huntingdon was the right place for you? "It really just felt like home and everyone seemed really nice when I came on my visit. The professors were really welcoming and it seemed like they wanted me to be a part of Huntingdon."

What has made your Huntingdon experience unique? "All the friendships I have built here. I have enjoyed getting to know my classmates and teammates, but I really like the bonds I have formed with my professors and other members of the Huntingdon staff."

How has Huntingdon challenged you academically and athletically? "I definitely wasn't used to 6 a.m. workouts. I can say that now I am more mentally tough and if I can make it through a coach Goodyear workout, I think I can survive anything. Academically, the professors are always trying push you and they believe you can always do better."

What has been your biggest highlight as a Huntingdon student-athlete? "When I was named USA South Volleyball Player of the Week for the first time in program history. I didn't know that until that day, so it made it special. But making the conference tournament and putting Huntingdon on the map for volleyball has been a really cool feeling."

As a student-athlete, what is your impression of Division III now compared to your first season? "My impression is way different now. In junior college, it seemed like everyone was on the same level but Division III is definitely a bigger step. I thought I would be fine coming from junior college, but you really have to prove yourself more in Division III."
