Huntingdon closes out AVCA Small College Championship

TAVARES, Fla. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team fell to Webber International University 5-0 before defeating junior college Mt. San Antonio College 4-1 in the AVCA Small College Beach Championships on Sunday.

Against Webber International, Huntingdon's No. 5 team of Kaitlyn Carter and Amy Tyma fell in three sets, 21-19, 16-21, 17-19.

All five pairs went to three sets against Mt. San Antonio. The No. 1 team of Nichole LeFevre and April Reese won 21-9, 19-21, 17-15 and the No. 2 team of Alexis Creasman and Bria Rochelle won 17-21, 21-14, 15-10.

The No. 4 team of Addison Genard and Cheyenne Scarbrough won 16-21, 21-12, 15-3 and the No. 5 team of Carter and Tyma won 21-15, 14-21, 15-8. The No. 3 team of Lexie DeVuyst and Shelby McAllister lost 21-18, 13-21, 9-15.
