119 Hawks earn USA South Academic All-Conference honors

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – A total of 119 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Friday. The student-athletes, representing each of Huntingdon's 18 athletic programs, were among the 1,441 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team defeated NAIA William Carey, but lost to NAIA club team Reinhardt University on Senior Day. The Hawks fell to Reinhardt University 3-2 in match 1 of the day. In match 3 of the day, the Hawks beat William Carey 4-1.

Hawks earn first beach volleyball win of the season

COVINGTON, La. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team competed in the New Orleans Invitational Tournament on Friday and Saturday. In the tournament, the Hawks finished 1-3 picking up their first win of the season over Division I Nicholls State. On Friday, the Hawks fell to the University of Southern Miss 5-0 and to Spring Hill College 5-0. On Saturday, the Hawks lost to the University of New Orleans 5-0 and beat Nicholls State 3-2.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team finished its opening weekend at the Blazer Beach Duals with matches against Division I Jacksonville State and UAB. The Hawks lost to Jacksonville State 3-2 and to UAB 5-0.
