Third-year Hawks earn fourth win of the season

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team defeated NAIA William Carey, but lost to NAIA club team Reinhardt University on Senior Day.
The Hawks fell to Reinhardt University 3-2 in match 1 of the day. In match 3 of the day, the Hawks beat William Carey 4-1.
In the Reinhardt match, the No. 3 team of Lexie DeVuyst and Amy Tyma came together to earn a win for the Hawks. The No. 5 team of Alexis Creasman and April Reese also picked up a win for Huntingdon. Creasman and Reese's match went into three sets where the pair took the final two sets.
In the William Carey match, the No. 2 team of Nichole LeFevre and Addison Genard earned a win. The No. 3 team of Lexie DeVuyst and Amy Tyma picked up a win. The No. 4 team of Kaitlyn Carter and Shelby McAllister secured a win. The No. 5 team of Alexis Creasman and April Reese earned another win the Hawks.

Coming Up: The Hawks will compete in the Stevenson University Tournament on April 13-14. Huntingdon opens the tournament against Stevenson.
