Huntingdon opens play in Stevenson Tournament

PIKESVILLE, Md. – The Huntingdon beach volleyball team lost to Stevenson but defeated Division I club team Liberty University.
The Hawks fell to Stevenson 5-0 in their first match, but finished the day with a 3-2 win over Liberty.
In the Liberty match, the No. 2 team of Nichole LeFevre and Addison Genard won 21-14, 21-10. The No. 3 team of Lexie DeVuyst and Amy Tyma won 21-9, 21-14. The No. 4 team of Kaitlyn Carter and Shelby McAllister won in three sets 19-21, 21-14, and 15-13.

Coming Up: The Hawks will close out the Stevenson University Tournament on Sunday with matches against Loyola and Stevenson.
