Huntingdon baseball stumbles at Millsaps

JACKSON, Miss. – The Huntingdon baseball team fell behind early on Tuesday and lost to Millsaps 12-2.

Huntingdon (17-6) trailed 4-1 before Millsaps (13-8) blew the game open with five runs in the fourth inning.

Grant Brown doubled to score Cameron Lewis in the third inning for Huntingdon's first run. Evan Agnew drove in Trey Smith in the sixth inning for the Hawks' final run.

Brown finished with two of Huntingdon's four hits.

Kevin Aaron (2-1) took the loss in 2 1/3 innings.

Huntingdon returns to Posey Field on Friday for a 6 p.m. game with Emory.
