Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the third, a Blackwell single drove in his first of two runs in two at-bats during the inning. A White single scored two runs, a Freeman single brought in two more runs before Brown drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 8-2. A fielder's choice by Odom and a Blackwell single scored the final two runs of the inning.

In the sixth, an error and an Odom single scored two runs before Blackwell stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and blasted his first home run of the season.

Craig Brown (4-1) pitched six innings to pick up the win. Relievers Will Davis and Parker Adams held Methodist to one hit in the final three innings.

Huntingdon and Methodist play again at Posey Field at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
