Freeman and Raley named to D3baseball.com Team of the Week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Third baseman Jordan Freeman and left fielder Alec Raley were recognized by D3baseball.com on Tuesday for their performances in the three-game series with Greensboro this past weekend.

The two players were among 13 recognized on D3baseball.com's national Team of the Week.

Freeman, a senior from Prattville, batted .500 (8-for-16) with two home runs, 10 RBIs, six runs and five doubles in the Greensboro series. Freeman finished with a 1.188 slugging percentage and a .471 on-base percentage.

Freeman, who was also named the USA South Player of the Week, is batting .415 with 22 hits, 18 RBIs, 15 runs, two home runs, nine doubles in 12 games this season.

Raley, a junior from Dothan, batted .600 (9-for-15) with eight RBIs, six runs and two doubles against Greensboro. Raley finished the series with a .733 slugging percentage and a .647 on-base percentage.

For the season, Raley is batting .404 with 21 hits, 16 RBIs, 13 runs and four doubles.
