Huntingdon’s Fought named to OVL All-Star Game

HUNTINGBURG, Ind. – Huntingdon third baseman/outfielder Taylor Fought will play in the Ohio Valley League All-Star Game on Sunday. The game will be played at 6 p.m. (Central) at League Stadium in Huntingburg, Ind.

196 Hawks named to USA South Academic All-Conference Team

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Nearly 200 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 196 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 16 athletic programs, were among the 1,684 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon baseball team split a doubleheader with Methodist University on Saturday to win its fourth USA South Athletic Conference series of the season. The Hawks won 11-5 before falling 15-2 in the second game of the doubleheader. Huntingdon took the first game of the series 10-3 on Friday night.

The Hawks (11-21, 8-8 USA South) and Monarchs (14-19, 6-10 USA South) will wrap up their three-game USA South Athletic Conference series with a doubleheader on Saturday. Game 1 is set for noon.

LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Huntingdon baseball team took Game 1 but stumbled in Game 2 on Saturday in the final two games of a conference series at Covenant. The Hawks won 12-6 in the first game but fell 11-10 in the second game. Covenant (12-17, 5-10 USA South) won the series with the win in the final game.
