MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Huntingdon baseball team lost 9-6 at Rhodes College on Tuesday.
Huntingdon led 3-1 in the third inning but the Lynx scored three runs in the third, two runs in the fourth and two runs in the fifth inning to take an 8-3 lead. Trailing 9-3 in the ninth inning, Huntingdon scored three runs but could not complete the comeback.
Chris Fisher had two of the Hawks' four hits and finished 2-for-3 with a run. Garrett Headley scored two runs and Josh Jackson had an RBI and a run. Joseph Calvert, Will Cosby and Coleson Taylor each had an RBI and Wes Powell and Corey Lowe each scored one run.
Jeremy Peterson (1-2) took the loss in three innings.
