Huntingdon baseball to open season at Riverwalk Stadium

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon baseball team will open the season at Riverwalk Stadium on Feb. 8.                       

The Hawks are hosting the Firehouse Classic Tournament on Feb. 8-10. However, due to unexpected field maintenance, the tournament is being moved from Posey Field to Riverwalk Stadium.

Riverwalk Stadium is the home of the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

The tournament will feature two games each day. In addition to Huntingdon, the tournament field will include Berea, Guilford and Sewanee.

General admission is $5 per day.

Friday (Feb. 8)

Noon – Guilford vs. Sewanee

4 p.m. –Huntingdon vs. Berea

Saturday (Feb. 9)

Noon – Sewanee vs. Berea

4 p.m. – Huntingdon vs. Guilford

Sunday (Feb. 10)

Noon – Berea vs. Guilford

4 p.m. -- Huntingdon vs. Sewanee
