Huntingdon baseball welcomes new pitching coach

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department recently added Taylor Sheriff as a new assistant coach.

Sheriff joins D.J. Conville's staff as the baseball team's pitching coach.

The Pennsylvania native comes to Huntingdon after spending one season at Spalding University, where he served as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. During his season with the Golden Eagles, Spalding was 31-12, captured a share of the conference title and produced eight all-conference performers and three all-region players.

Before Spalding, Sheriff was a collegiate assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Penn State-New Kensington. At IUP, he worked with 2019 MLB Draft pick Tyler Adams.
