2010: Appeared in three varsity games during his freshman season … participated in all five of the Hawks' junior varsity contests … recorded three total tackles on the season, including a personal-best two solo stops in the 35-28 win over LaGrange on Nov. 6.

Prep: Lettered in football and baseball at B.B. Comer HS in Sylacauga, AL…Selected Most Outstanding Defensive Back and All-County as a senior…  Rushed for over 100 yards for 10 games straight scoring 10 touchdowns.

Personal: Full name is Kelsey Mondre’ Bates…Son of Kelvin Wheeler and Tasia Bradford…has a younger brother; Brian and two younger sisters; Acalia and Shayla… is majoring in Sports Management.
