Huntingdon’s Pearcy in the running for top Receiver Performance of the Year

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon receiver Cody Pearcy has received national attention for his record-setting performance against LaGrange College.

Pearcy's six catches for a school-record 233 yards and a school-record-tying three touchdowns helped the Hawks beat LaGrange 45-10. Now, Huntingdon fans can do something to help Pearcy.

The All-Star Football Challenge selected Pearcy as one of its two Receiver Performances of the Week. Pearcy is up against Kutztown's Josh Smith and every vote can make a difference.

Through 8:59 a.m. on Sunday, Huntingdon fans can vote for Pearcy at this link (http://www.facebook.com/AllStarFootball?v=app_248131358564315) or by going to facebook.com/AllStarFootball and clicking on the "Vote Now" link on the left side of the page.

Each weekly winner advances to the finals, which will be open for voting from Jan. 19-25.

The top weekly performances, based on the weekly votes, will be recognized during a two-hour All-Star Football Challenge special on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. on ESPN2.
