Hawks' reverse flea-flicker named USA South Play of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The USA South Athletic Conference is pleased to announce that its "Football Play of the Week" initiative will continue with the 2014 season. For each of the 11 weeks during the regular season, dynamic plays will be submitted by the coaching staffs of each institution.

The winners are chosen by fan voting and will be featured on both the USA South website and its social networking sites (Twitter / YouTube / Instagram). At the end of the season, each weekly winner will be nominated for USA South Football Play of the Year.

With 284 votes and 74% of the vote (380 total votes cast), play #1, Huntingdon running a reverse flea-flicker pass and Brantley Carr twisting around to catch it for a touchdown in a 51-31 victory over USA South foe Christopher Newport earned USA South Football Play of the Week honors for Week #6.

This play will now be eligible for the USA South Football Play of the Year which will be announced at the conclusion of the regular season.
