Football Offensive Player of the Week
Shedrick Lindsey, LaGrange - The senior quarterback from Griffin, Georgia threw for three touchdowns in a 44-38 win over Ferrum last week. Lindsey was 18-of-35 for 220 yards passing, averaging 6.3 yards per attempt. Lindsey's 40-yard touchdown in the first quarter put the Panthers on the board and was his longest completion of the day. Also Nominated: Rodney Scott Jr., Greensboro; Jaden O'Leary, Brevard.

Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Bryson Rollins, Maryville - The freshman quarterback from Elizabethton, Tennessee accounted for four touchdowns, three passing and one rushing, in a 34-29 loss to Shenandoah last week. Through the air, Rollins was 27-of-40 for 340 yards without an interception and ran 15 times for 27 yards. Rollins helped the Scots score 22 consecutive second half points to take a late lead which could not be held in the final minute. Also Nominated: None.

Football Defensive Player of the Week 
Casey Peppers, Huntingdon
 - The Panama City Beach, Florida senior linebacker totaled nine tackles, including four sacks, in a 47-7 victory over Guilford last week. Peppers totaled seven solo tackles and two assisted take downs. His four sacks resulted in a total loss of 26 yards. Also Nominated: Isaiah Screen, LaGrange; JaJuan Givens, Greensboro; Toby Naylor, Brevard.

Football Defensive Rookie of the Week
Renardo Faust, LaGrange - The freshman linebacker from Athens, Georgia returned an interception for a touchdown in the third quarter of a 44-38 win over Ferrum last week. The score capped a 21-point scoring run for the Panthers and produced the largest lead of the game. Faust also added two solo tackles and a fumble recovery. Also Nominated: Tyler Clyburn, Greensboro.

Football Special Teams Player of the Week
James Woods, Brevard - The sophomore defensive back from Lincolnton, North Carolina blocked and returned a punt for a touchdown in a 23-6 loss to Averett last week. The score, which came in the fourth quarter, could have made it a one-score game if the ensuing two-point play was converted. Also Nominated: Alex Rivera, LaGrange; Kobe Praylow, Methodist.
