Hill’s 32 points pace Huntingdon men in loss to Concordia

SELMA, Ala. – Senior Austin Hill scored a career-high 32 points, but the Huntingdon men's basketball team didn't have an answer for Concordia College in a 103-77 loss on Wednesday.

The Hawks committed 29 turnovers in the game, 15 in the first half, allowing Concordia to take control early.

"We had some guys play well and there were some positives tonight. Austin played well and so did freshman Adam Roberson," Huntingdon head coach Mike Pugh said. "But turnovers took us out of the game early. We turned the ball over 15 times before halftime and Concordia turned almost all of them into points. We have to take better care of the ball to be able to compete."

Roberson finished with 10 points and four assists. Hill also had eight rebounds.

Huntingdon (0-3) returns to action on Saturday with the first home game of the season. The Hawks host Rust College at 1 p.m.
