MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team rallied late but lost to Rust College 71-66 on Tuesday night.

The Hawks (0-4) rallied from a 14-point deficit in the final six minutes and tied the game, 66-66, with 1:08 to play. But Rust (2-4) hit five free throws to close out the game.

Andre Ashley led Huntingdon with 14 points, five rebounds and three steals. Dantavius Washington added 11 points and six rebounds and Raheem Berry had five assists.

Huntingdon hosts AUM on Dec. 5.
