Men’s basketball loses at Maryville

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team fell to Maryville 97-71 on Saturday.

R.J. Jones came off the bench to lead the Hawks (3-19, 2-9 USA South) with 18 points. The freshman was 6-of-9 from 3-point range. He hit five 3s and accounted for half of the Hawks' 30 points in the first half.

Raheem Berry added 13 points six rebounds and four assists and Andre Ashley followed with 11 points. Jerome Davis finished with six assists and Dantavius Washington had five steals.

Spencer Shoffner led Maryville (11-11, 6-5 USA South) with 34 points and finished 10-of-16 from 3-point range.

Huntingdon returns to action at Piedmont on Sunday at noon.
