DEMOREST, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team fell behind early and lost to Piedmont 75-62 on Sunday.
The Hawks (3-20, 2-10 USA South) rallied from a 25-point deficit in the second half and pulled within nine points in the final 11 minutes. But Piedmont (12-11, 7-6 USA South) ended the rally and finished out the game.
Dantavius Washington had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks and Andre Ashley added 13 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. Jerome Davis finished with 10 points and three assists.
Huntingdon hosts Covenant on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
