Weather forces cancellation of weekend basketball games

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – This weekend's Huntingdon men's and women's basketball games have been canceled due to the hazardous weather conditions in North Carolina.

The men's and women's teams were scheduled to play at Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C., on Saturday and the Lady Hawks were scheduled to play at Greensboro College in Greensboro, N.C., on Sunday.

All three games have been canceled and are not expected to be made up.

The men's team will play on Tuesday at Belhaven at 6 p.m. The Hawks defeated the Blazers 84-80 in double overtime earlier this season.

The Lady Hawks will travel to play at Averett University on January 30. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
