MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team lost to East Texas Baptist University 112-69 on Saturday in the Rhodes Tip-Off Tournament.

ETBU (2-0) jumped out to a 25-4 lead in the first seven minutes of the game. Huntingdon (0-2) pulled within 13 points, 48-35, with 2:31 left in the first half, but ETBU closed the first half with an 8-0 run and continued to pull ahead in the second half.

Scout Carson led the Hawks with 11 points and five rebounds and Jahal Robinson added 10 points.

Huntingdon returns to action in the tournament on Sunday. The Hawks will play Wilmington at noon.
