LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team lost to LaGrange College 89-74 on Wednesday night.
After trailing by as many as 15 points in the first half, Huntingdon (2-15, 0-6 USA South) pulled within nine points, 48-39, in the first two minutes of the second half. But LaGrange (10-8, 3-4 USA South) answered with a 27-7 run to put the game away.
The Hawks used a late 11-2 run to close the gap to 14 points in the final minutes.
Andre Ashley was the only Hawk in double figures and finished with 14 points. Ashley led the team with six rebounds.
Huntingdon plays at Greensboro on Saturday at 2 p.m.
