Hawks lose high-scoring battle with Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team scored a season-high 94 points but lost to Greensboro 101-94 on Sunday.

After a 51-point first half, the Hawks only trailed by four points at halftime. Greensboro pulled ahead to a double-digit lead in the second half and led by 18 points, 88-70, with 5:39 to play.

Huntingdon chipped away at the Pride's lead and pulled within four points in the final 15 seconds. An Isaiah King 3-pointer, his third in 64 seconds, made it a 98-94 game with 12 seconds to play.

Greensboro answered with three free throws to close out the game.

King led Huntingdon with a season-high 19 points and four assists. Brandon McLean followed with 17 points and Kyante Pines and R.J. Jones each added 13 points.
