Hawks play Division I South Alabama in exhibition game

MOBILE, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team lost to the University of South Alabama 106-76 in an exhibition game on Sunday afternoon.

Huntingdon started strong and only trailed 13-11, a little more than five minutes into the game. But from there, the Division I Jaguars began to pull away.

South Alabama used a 15-0 run to take a 28-11 lead with 9:29 left in the first half. The Jaguars carried a 47-33 lead into the half and extended their lead in the second half.

Aaron Washington led Huntingdon with 14 points. Jacob Champion followed with 11 points, Kyante Pines had 10 points and Damien Madison added nine points. Trey Livingston led the Hawks with four rebounds.

 

Coming Up: Huntingdon returns to regular-season play on Tuesday at Berry College. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. (Central).
