Huntingdon men’s golf in 14th entering final round of Emory Spring Invitational
ATLANTA – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot 309 in the first round of the Emory Spring Invitational on Monday. Entering Tuesday's final round at Druid Hills Golf Club, the Hawks are in 14th place.
Oglethorpe leads the team standings at 292 and Emory is second at 295. LaGrange and Transylvania are tied for third at 296. LaGrange's Hudson Keener leads the individual field with a 4-under-par 68. Transylvania's Justin Tereshko is second with a 2-under 70.
Jamey Lester led Huntingdon with a 4-over 76. Tyler Schmutz shot a 5-over 77, Sam Strachan and Rodes Bowers each shot 6-over 78 and Steven Smith shot a 7-over 79.
