Huntingdon men’s golf in 14th after Rd. 1 of Jim Bishop Classic

FLORENCE, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot 331 on Monday in the first round of the Jim Bishop Classic. The Hawks are in 14th entering Tuesday's final round.

Central Alabama Community College and Henderson State are tied for first with a score of 304. Northern Kentucky is third at 307.

Delta State's Cameron Thomas shot an even-par 72 for Monday's low round.

Tyler Schmutz and Rodes Bowers both shot 79 to lead Huntingdon. Jamey Lester shot 85, Griffin Just shot 88 and Steven Smith shot 89. Playing as an individual, David James shot 94.
