Hawks complete second round of Golfweek D3 Fall Invitational

DESTIN, Fla. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot 312 on Monday and is in 15th with a two-round total of 615 entering Tuesday's final round of the Golfweek D3 Fall Invitational.

The University of Texas-Tyler leads the 18-team tournament with a two-round score of 575, Methodist is second at 576 and Illinois Wesleyan is third at 583.

Texas-Tyler's George Toone and Methodist's Mason Stutler both shot 3-under-par 68 on Monday and are tied for first after 36 holes at 4-under 138.

Sophomore Will Thrash shot a 4-over 75 to lead Huntingdon in the second round and is at 6-over 148 entering the final round. Junior David James is two strokes behind Thrash at 150, freshman Mac Harris is at 156, freshman Peter Scrimgeour is at 161 and Alan Anderson is at 163.
