NORMAN, Okla. – Four Huntingdon golfers were recognized with the release of the Golf Coaches Association of America's finalized Division III Ping All-America teams on Wednesday. Senior Addison Lambeth was announced as a first-team All-America selection in May. On Wednesday, senior Will Thrash and sophomore Stephen Shephard each earned second-team All-America honors and senior Chad Ring was named an honorable mention selection.

196 Hawks named to USA South Academic All-Conference Team

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Nearly 200 Huntingdon College student-athletes were recognized with the release of the USA South Academic All-Conference team on Monday. A total of 196 Hawks, representing each of Huntingdon's 16 athletic programs, were among the 1,684 USA South student-athletes named to the team.

ATLANTA – Huntingdon Director of Golf Dave Schreyer was named Division III Coach of the Year with the release of the Golf Coaches Association of America's Dave Williams Awards on Tuesday.

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot a 12-over-par 300 in the final round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on Friday. The Hawks finished with a four-round total of 1190 and tied for fourth in the 18-team field at Mission Inn Resort & Club.

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The Huntingdon men's golf team shot 18-over-par 306 on Thursday and slipped from first place to third place in the third round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The top-ranked Huntingdon Hawks shaved two strokes off their first-round total and maintained their first-place position on Wednesday in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – The top-ranked Huntingdon men's golf team leads the field after the opening round of the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on Tuesday. The Hawks shot 5-over-par 293 and lead the 42-team tournament by three strokes. Entering Wednesday's second round, second-ranked University of Texas-Tyler, eighth-ranked Rhodes College and sixth-ranked LaGrange College are tied for second at 8-over 296. Huntingdon senior Addison Lambeth, the top-ranked golfer in Division III, turned in Tuesday's best round with a 3-under 69.

NORMAN, Okla. – Huntingdon Director of Golf Dave Schreyer is one of five finalists for Division III Coach of the Year. The finalists for the Dave Williams Award were announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Tuesday. The Williams Award and Regional Coach of the Year recipients will be announced on June 5.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The top-ranked Huntingdon men’s golf team will be one of 42 teams competing in the 2017 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships on May 16-19 at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. The NCAA selection committee announced the field on Monday.

NORMAN, Okla. – Huntingdon senior golfers Addison Lambeth and Will Thrash were recently named semifinalists for the 2017 Division III Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award.

Women's basketball player Juliette Harp and men's golfer Addison Lambeth were recognized as the Huntingdon Female Student-Athlete of the Year and Male Student-Athlete of the Year during Wednesday night's Awards Ceremony.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department held its annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday night to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes that helped make this another successful year.

Sophomore Stephen Shephard placed second in the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament with a 4-under-par 212 in three rounds. Shephard shot a 4-under 68 in the final round of the tournament.

LAGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's golf team is eight strokes off the lead and in third place after the first two rounds of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament. The top-ranked Hawks shot 297 in the second round and are at 13-over-par 589 entering Saturday's final round at the Highland Country Club.
