Hawks fall at Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team lost to Greensboro College 14-7 on Saturday.

Greensboro (4-7) built a seven-goal lead late in the first half and led by at least five goals for the remainder of the game.

Jakob Works scored three goals and had two assists for Huntingdon (2-11). Patrick Rowe, Brandon Sewell, LaDarius Williams and Kendrick Ballard each added one goal for the Hawks. Williams and Tyler Campbell each had an assist. Sewell had six ground balls and was 8-of-16 on faceoffs. Matt Bowes finished with four caused turnovers and four ground balls.

Goalie Fabien Gutierrez had six saves and nine goals allowed in the first half and Kristian Smith had nine saves and five goals allowed in the second half.

Huntingdon hosts Centenary on Sunday at 1 p.m.
