HUNTINGDON MEN’S SOCCER LOSES ON TWO LATE GOALS

SEWANNEE, Tenn. – Chris Blight scored with 25 minutes left in the game to give Huntingdon the lead, but the University of the South rallied with two goals in the final 15 minutes for a 2-1 win on Saturday.

Matt Lightfoot tied the game with 13:14 left in the game and Nate Owens provided the game-winning goal with 11:17 remaining. Weston Stitt assisted on both goals.

Blight's goal came on a penalty kick. For the day, he had three shots. Kenny Born and Dallas Thomas each had two shots. Keeper Jordan Osborne finished with two saves.

Huntingdon (0-1-1) returns to action on Sunday in Sewanee. The Hawks play Birmingham-Southern at 2 p.m.
