Huntingdon men’s soccer ties Spalding

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Huntingdon and Spalding men's soccer teams both scored in the first half and battled to a 1-1 tie in double overtime on Sunday.

Huntingdon's Austin Savage scored in the 26th minute before Spalding's Stephen Hubert tied the game with 36 seconds left in the first half.

Huntingdon took 16 shots, including 10 shots on goal. Spalding took 20 shots, including 11 on goal. Rhett Williams took three shots on goal for the Hawks and Savage and Jack Allen each took two shots on goal.

Keeper Alex Brown recorded 10 saves for the Hawks.

Huntingdon hosts Tennessee Temple on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
