Huntingdon men's soccer drops home match to Southeastern

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team dropped its first match of the season on Friday in 3-0 loss to Southeastern (Fla.) at the Huntingdon soccer field.

The Fire opened scoring in the 36th minute with a goal from Kyle Krause on a Luke Hallberg assist. Huntingdon took just three shots in the opening half, while Southeastern took eight to enter the half with a 1-0 score.

Gerritson Craane found the net in the 61st minute on an assist from Ashton Hicks, before the Fire added its third and final goal in the 79th minute on a goal from Derek Drummond.

Colton Savage, Austin Stacey, Brendon Van Emelen and Desmond Ibie all took one shot for the Hawks, while Sebastian Garcia got his first collegiate start in goal and picked up six saves.

The Hawks return to action Sunday in Maryville, Tenn., against Emory & Henry.
