LaGRANGE, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team battled LaGrange to a 0-0 tie in double overtime on Wednesday night.
The Hawks (1-2-2) took 20 shots and held the Panthers (2-1-1) to just 10 shots, but couldn't find the net in 110 minutes of action.
Rhett Williams and Halston Michaud accounted for half of the Hawks' shots with five shots apiece. Williams and Michaud each took two shots on goal. Colton Savage and Brendon Van Emelen each took three shots and combined for three shots on goal.
Keeper Dominique Thomas spent the entire match in goal and recorded four saves, while Donnie Palmer of LaGrange picked up eight saves.
The Hawks return to action on Friday at 4 p.m. in a home match against Tennessee Temple.
