Freshmen spark Hawks to first win of the season

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three Huntingdon freshmen scored their first collegiate goals to push the Huntingdon men's soccer team past Hendrix 3-2 on Saturday.

Freshman Killian Delmore scored the Hawks' first goal of the game, freshman Dylan Wier tied the game 2-2 in the 65th minute and freshman Bo Jenkins scored with 57 seconds left in regulation to cap the first win of the season for the Hawks (1-1-1). Miguel Medina recorded an assist on Delmore's goal.

Keeper Alex Brown recorded five saves and two goals allowed in 90 minutes.

Huntingdon returns to action on Sunday at Rhodes at 2 p.m.
