Huntingdon men’s soccer ties Rhodes in 2OT

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team battled Rhodes to a 1-1 tie in double overtime on Sunday.

Rhodes (1-1-1) scored in the first half and led 1-0 at halftime. The Hawks (1-1-2) answered in the first two minutes of the second half when freshman Miguel Medina scored on an assist from freshman Killian Delmore.

The Huntingdon defense denied Rhodes the remainder of the second half and in both overtime periods. Keeper Alex Brown recorded 15 saves, including five in the second half and four in the two overtime periods.

Dylan Wier took three of the Hawks' five shots on goal for the game.

Huntingdon returns to action with its first home game of the season on Friday. The Hawks host Louisiana College at 3 p.m.
