SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team tied Sewanee 2-2 in double overtime on Saturday.
Junior Brendon Van Emelen led the Hawks (1-2-1) with two shots, two shots on goal and one goal. Van Emelen's goal tied the game in the 77th minute.
Huntingdon's Killian Delmore scored the game's first goal in the 10th minute. Sewanee (1-2-1) answered with a goal 70 seconds later to tie the game. The Tigers took a 2-1 lead in the first seven minutes of the second half.
The Hawks were outshot 14-9 for the game.
Dylan Wier and Zach den Besten each had one shot on goal.
Alex Brown recorded six saves and allowed two goals in 110 minutes.
Each team took three shots in the two overtime periods.
The Hawks take on Hampden-Sydney on Sunday at noon at Sewanee.
