MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team stepped out of conference play on Saturday to battle Emory University, but fell 1-0.
The Hawk's (2-5-1) defense was the bright spot for the day. Emory (4-3-1) took 21 shots and had 11 shots on goal.
Senior goalkeeper Alex Brown recorded 10 saves and allowed one goal.
Junior Brendon Van Emelen took the only shot for Huntingdon.
The Hawks play at Berry on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
