ROME, Ga. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team stepped out of conference play and fell to Berry College 3-1 on Tuesday.
Brendon Van Emelen scored the Hawks' lone goal just over 20 minutes into the game with an assist from Nick Stinson. Van Emelen led Huntingdon (2-9-3) with three shots, three shots on goal and one goal.
Miguel Vidal and Miguel Medina each recorded two shots. Dylan Wier and Killian Delmore both had one shot.
Berry College (6-6-2) held a 20-9 shot advantage over the Hawks.
Dominique Thomas recorded nine saves and allowed three goals.
Huntingdon will travel to North Carolina this weekend to take on N.C. Wesleyan College on Saturday and Methodist University on Sunday.
