BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team took Birmingham-Southern to overtime on Tuesday night but fell 3-2.
The Panthers (3-0) scored on a penalty kick, 25 seconds into overtime, to end the game.
Birmingham-Southern scored the first goal of the game in the 14th minute before an own goal by the Panthers tied the game 1-1.
Huntingdon (0-3) took the lead in the second half as Kebba Jeng scored on an assist from T.J. Fleming in the 79th minute. The Panthers tied the game on a penalty kick in the 82nd minute.
