Huntingdon ties USA South East Division leader William Peace

CARY, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's soccer team rallied from a two-goal deficit and tied William Peace 2-2 in double overtime on Saturday.

Peace, which is unbeaten in the conference and leads the East Division of the USA South, scored two goals in the first 39 minutes of the game and outshot the Hawks 15-2 in the first half.

But Huntingdon made one of the two shots count when Matt Rosendale scored in the 43rd minute.

In the second half, the Hawks limited the Pacers' opportunities and Huntingdon tied the game in the 80th minute with a goal from Kelan LeBlanc on an assist from Thura Zayyar.

The Huntingdon defense faced just two shots on goal in the two overtime periods with goalie Zak Heino making a save on both shots.
